Friday, Nov 2: Bohemian Rhapsody premieres

Bohemian Rhapsody hits theaters today.

Finally! A movie that celebrates one of the coolest cat lovers on the planet – Freddie Mercury – along with his band, Queen. Mercury had many cats – Tiffany, Miko, Romeo, Dorothy and Goliath among them. And, yes, cats are in the movie! The highly anticipated film stars familiar faces like Rami Malek and Mike Myers and focuses on the years up to Queen’s memorable appearance at Live Aid, London, in 1985. Saturday, Nov. 3: Puttin’ on the Max

Don’t miss the 30th annual Puttin’ on the Max fundraiser.

Dress in your best formal attire and join MaxFund for its 30thannual Puttin’ on the Max fundraiser at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, Colorado. Sunday, Nov. 4: Total Cat Mojo Live

Starting today, author and host of My Cat From Hell Jackson Galaxy (aka The Cat Daddy) kicks off his Total Cat Mojo Live tour, presented by Litter Genie. The well-known cat behaviorist will bring his love for cats to 15 cities across the country throughout November and December. In this rare live event, he’ll share his expertise and “cat mojo” – his unique philosophy that teaches cat parents the skills to help their feline friends build confidence within their own environment. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10-11: Dayton Cat Fanciers CFA Allbreed & Household Pet Cat Show

Join Dayton Cat Fanciers for its 63rdannual CFA Allbreed & Household Pet Cat Show, where dozens of cats from all over the United States will compete for best in show. There will be a feline agility course, adoptable cats, and lots of vendors featuring hard-to-find items for your pets – clothing, toys and other feline-related accessories. Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, and the event takes place at Bales Arena/McAfee Sports Center. Tickets are $6 for adults; $5 for seniors and children (ages 6 through 12); $15 for family, and children under the age of 5 are free. Friday, Nov. 16: Holiday Windows

They’re back! Check out those wonderful Macy’s Holiday Windows filled with adoptable cats and dogs from the San Francisco SPCA. This year is the SF SPCA’s 150thanniversary, so expect a lot of special surprises! Holiday Windows goes through the end of the year at the Macy’s located on Union Square in San Francisco. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17-18: TICA All-Breed Championship

Get ready for cats, cats and more cats at TICA’s (The International Cat Association) feline family event at Minnreg Hall in Largo, Florida. Watch cats compete in 12 different rings with expert judges from around the world. There’s even a Household Pet category. Friday, Nov. 23: The Complete Cat Exhibition

International Cat Care (iCatCare) celebrates its 60thanniversary with an exhibition in the Rook Lane Gallery at Frome, Somerset, England. You’ll see art from the Members of the Society of Feline Artists (S.O.F.A.) and others. A quarter of all sales goes to iCatCare’s work for cats around the world. Runs through December 8.
